The New Zealand women's K4 500 crew won their heat overnight on the first day of racing at the Canoe Sprint World Cup Finals in Hungary.
Lisa Carrington, Alicia Hoskin, Olivia Brett, and Tara Vaughan have advanced to the semi-finals with the quickest time.
Olympic gold medallist Carrington also won her K1 500 heat, as did compatriot Aimee Fisher, who finished fastest across the heats with 1m 58.74s.
New Zealand's Ashton Reiser came first in the K1 Men's 200 heat and fourth in the men's K1 500 to advace to the semi-finals in both disciplines.
In the K4 500 men's event, the New Zealand team came third to advance to the semi-finals.
New Zealand para-canoeists Scott Martlew, Corbin Hart, and Peter Cowan have progressed to their respective finals.
Martlew won his KL2 200 heat and came second in the VL3 200 event.
Cowan finished second in his VL3 200 heat, and Hart finished third in the men's KL3 200.
