Kiwi Ryan Fox has finished his third round eight shots off the pace at the PGA Championship, making a one-over 71 at New York's Oak Hills East Course.
Fox made two birdies and three bogeys in his third round, and climbed three places on the leaderboard, as he left the course.
Heading into the final day, he sits at two-over par for the tournament, tied for 16th, in conditions that have proven tricky for anyone to break away from the chasing pack.
While sitting back from the leaders, Fox can record his best finish at a Major tournament, after placing 16th at the 2019 British Open.
Shortly after Fox finished, American Brooks Koepka took the lead with a four-under round of 66, moving ahead of Canadian Corey Conners at six-under for the tournament.
Conners dropped a place, after holding a share of the lead, carding an even-par 68 to remain at five-under heading into the final round, tied with fellow overnight leader Viktor Hovland of Norway.
American Scottie Scheffler also held a share of the lead heading into the third day, but carded 71 to drop four spots to fifth.
Victory for Koepka would prove hugely significant for both golf and the PGA Tour as a whole - he would become the first time a player from the breakaway LIV Tour to claim a Major title.
