NZ Warriors will be without winger Ed Kosi for up to six weeks after he suffered a knee injury in last weekend's defeat to Penrith Panthers.
Kosi, 24, was taken from the field after just over half an hour of play last Saturday and didn't return in the Warriors' 18-6 loss.
Further examination has found Kosi suffered a medial femoral condylar fracture and faces between five and six weeks out of action.
So far this season, Kosi has scored five tries in 10 games as the Warriors' leading scorer.
Forwards Wayde Egan and Addin Fonua-Blake (four) are joint second behind Kosi.
Warriors head of performance Balin Cupples predicts the winger will be fit to return for round 15 when the team travels to Canberra to face the Raiders - the same game in which half Te Maire Martin is expected to return from a broken leg.
In Kosi's place, Marcelo Montoya has shifted from the centres to the wing for Friday's clash against Canterbury Bulldogs, with Rocco Berry coming into the side for his first appearance of the season.
Elsewhere, forward Mitchell Barnett will see a specialist to determine a return to play after he suffered a neck injury in the round three victory over North Queensland Cowboys.
Rookie stand-off Luke Metcalf will also make his long awaited return from injury this weekend, named to face the Bulldogs for the Warriors' NSW Cup reserve grade side.
