Live updates: NRL - NZ Warriors v St George Illawarra Dragons at Wollongong's WIN Stadium

WARRIORS 48 DRAGONS 18

FULLTIME

80min - Watene-Zelezniak almost gets through. Warriors happy to close it out as CNK takes it into contact, and that's fulltime! What a win for Andrew Webster and his team.

76min - Warriors don't look done yet as Curran makes a strong charge. Pompey puts out the big fend, but he's attempted offload to Montoya rolls harmlessly into touch.

72min - WARRIORS TRY - WATENE-ZELEZNIAK

Can you believe it, he's got his fourth?! In almost carbon copy but from closer range, CNK puts Watene-Zelezniak away, but this time, for an easy stroll over for another try!

70min - WARRIORS TRY - WATENE-ZELEZNIAK

Hat-trick for Watene-Zelezniak! Johnson puts CNK in space, before Watene-Zelezniak is away down the right wing! He makes no mistake with another aerial finish for his third.

68min - DRAGONS TRY - MOLO

Dragons are just a couple of metres out from the tryline. Sullivan grubbers, it hits the goalposts, CNK can't clean up and Molo pounces to score his first four-pointer of the season.

66min - Almost a repeat of the previous set with Bird this time the guilty party as he knocks on in the first tackle, with Johnson disrupting the runner.

64min - Dragons try to push the pass early into their set and Lomax loses the ball on tackle one, with the Warriors defence swarming him and forcing a bad offload.

62min - Molo makes a good run and is just a metre out from the tryline. Dragons switch back to Bird but he's smashed by Curran. Hunt puts the kick up and Watene-Zelezniak knocks on.

60min - Johnson puts the kick up high after a good run by Ford, but try-scorer Berry is penalised for taking the Dragons' player out, with the Warriors players steaming onto Sloan.

58min - WARRIORS TRY - BERRY

CNK steps one, before firing the pass to Watene-Zelezniak, who shows slick footwork to beat a couple defenders, before unselfishly offloading to Berry to score his first try.

56min - Dragons getting frustrated now, as the Warriors are awareded another penalty. Johnson finds touch for a fresh set of six around halfway.

54min - WARRIORS TRY - JOHNSON

Fonua-Blake shows great strength to ride two tackles, free the arms and send Johnson over for the easiest of tries. Warriors coasting right now. Johnson adds the extras.

52min - Johnson finds touch for a Dragons scrum near their own 10m. Sloan looks to be away but the Dragons are penalised for obstruction. Metcalf was impeded by Su'a.

50min - WARRIORS TRY - WATENE-ZELEZNIAK

Somehow Metcalf comes away with it and makes metres up the middle. Warriors shift direction to the right, they've got numbers and Watene-Zelezniak pulls of a sensational finish in the corner for his second try.

48min - DRAGONS TRY - MUSGROVE

With one of his first touches of his night, Musgrove attacks the ball at pace through the middle, cuts Walker and Egan in half, before stretching and scoring the try!

46min - Dragons finding a bit of space, but Bird's offload out the back is cleaned up by Johnson and the Warriors are awarded the penalty! Dragons challenge that Johnson was out first, and it looks as if that's the case and they'll get the ball back.

44min - Niukore's shoulder finds Suli's head and he's sent to the bin! Suli makes his way off the field for an HIA, he doesn't look right at all. Is this the opening the Dragons needed?

42min - We're back underway! Dragons make it up to halfway with their first set, before Hunt's kick is returned by CNK. Johson's kick isn't claimed by anyone and bounces into touch.

HALFTIME

40min - Johnson tries the looping cutout pass to Montoya but Ravalawa reads it well to contain him. Dragons will end the half with the ball, but Hunt's grubber is easily taken by CNK.

38min - Metres coming easily for the Warriors, before Johnson's grubber is well fielded by Ravalawa's boot. Suli makes a strong run but forces the offload and Ford comes up with it.

36min - Warriors easily make their way into the Dragons half, Johnson shapes to kick but puts Metcalf through half a gap before he's ankle-tapped and finally contained to end the set.

34min - WARRIORS TRY - FORD

Johnson puts the kick up high, Walker comes down with the catch, Ford is right behind him, rips it from his grasp and spins away to score another Warriors try! They're on fire!

32min - Warriors showing their attacking intent once again, as Ravalawa makes a much-needed tackle to bring down Montoya down the right wing. Warriors playing with real slickness.

30min - WARRIORS TRY - SIRONEN

Desperate defence denies CNK with de Belin doing enough to keep him out. Johnson grubbers through, Sironen just needs to collect and touches down for the try! Replays suggest it wasn't a clean put down, but the bunker confirms the try.

28min - Egan has returned to the field as Lomax tries to strip Ford but is unable to do so. Johnson kicks high, and it comes back to the Warriors. Bird plays at the ball and gives the visitors another set of six.

26min - WARRIORS TRY - MONTOYA

Walker's kick is played at and the Warriors get a fresh set. A cut out pass by Metcalf is picked up by Montoya, he steps inside and wrestles his way over for the try!

24min - Murdoch-Masila makes a strong run, getting ride of Metcalf. Dragons try the right edge but Ravalawa runs out of room and Ford does well to push him over the sideline.

22min - Johnson switches direction, puts the kick up and Ravalawa drops it and it almost falls kindly into the hands of the Warriors halfback. Dragons challenge and it looks like a good one, as replays suggest it was Pompey's hand, not Ravalawa that got a hand to it.

20min - Sloan again causing the Warriors all sorts of problems with his silky feet and speed. Lomax finds Ravalawa with an offload but his desperate dive comes up short of the tryline.

18min - Watene-Zelezniak returns Hunt's hurried kick, and rides a couple tackles before finding CNK on his inside in support. Warriors already in the Dragons' half in just three tackles.

16min - Hunt kicks on the fourth tackle just inside his own half for CNK to return. Warriors hooker Egan has gone off for a HIA. Took a heavy shot from Ravalawa.

14min - DRAGONS TRY - SLOAN

Dragons fullback Sloan gets the ball on the outside from 30 metres out, he puts the foot down and skins Pompey to race in for a try! What speed. Dragons hit back!

12min -  Warriors attacking the Dragons defence at pace! A fresh set sees them shift left with Pompey on the outside, he draws one before unleashing Montoya and he crashes over! The bunker is having look at potential obstruction and it's Ford who's adjudged to have stopped Ravalawa from making the tackle. Very tight call that.

10min - Sullivan grubbers through and Watene-Zelezniak is forced to take it dead for another repeat of six for the Dragons. Johnson goes short with the restart and Ford comes down with it!

8min - Harris makes the error and gifts the Dragons another scrum in their own half. A poor play of the ball and the referee calls him out for walking towards the marker.

6min - WARRIORS TRY - WATENE-ZELEZNIAK

A knock on from Ravalawa gives the Warriors great field position. Johnson gets it, finds CNK, before he gives it to Watene-Zelezniak for the easiest of strolls over for the try.

4min - Montoya looks to have lost the ball in contact, but the Warriors challenge. It doesn't go their way but they'll retain their challenge. Dragons wil have the scrum.

2min - We're underway! Warriors get through their first set without any fuss, before Johnson kicks long with not much wind around as the Dragons get their first touch of the pill.

9:55pm - Thank you for joining us! We're just minutes away from kickoff.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kia ora, good evening, and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the NRL clash between the NZ Warriors and St George Illawarra Dragons at Wollongong.

Both teams are coming off their bye weeks, but are on opposite sides of the ladder heading into round 17.

The Warriors are flying high after back-to-back big wins over The Dolphins and Canberra Raiders in their previous hit outs.

Those results see them sit sixth on the ladder, just two points second-placed Penrith Panthers.

They have also been boosted by the return of Rocco Berry in the centres, with Dylan Walker to play his first match since round 11 from the interchange.

Meanwhile, the Dragons have named star Ben Hunt at halfback, despite him asking for an immediate release from the club and a short turnaround from State of Origin on Wednesday.

Veterans Jack de Belin and Jack Bird also return to the starting lineup, as the Dragons look to back up their shock win over South Sydney Rabbitohs a fortnight ago.
