It's been one of the sights of NZ Warriors' 2023 NRL season so far.
There's nothing better than Dallin Watene-Zelezniak in full flight - with his flowing locks in tow. The secret?
"I just have a shower, and let it dry," the 27-year-old said.
"My daughters have the same hair as me, we go through quite a lot of product in our house.
"My wife has it, it's called a leave-in conditioner spray. That's all I've been doing."
Already this year, Watene-Zelezniak has crossed the line for 12 tries in only nine games, including four in last week's win over St George Illawarra Dragons.
That quadruple saw Watene-Zelezniak equal his career-best haul for a single season, with plenty of time left to set a new record.
Watene-Zelezniak will have that chance on Friday, when the Warriors host South Sydney Rabbitohs at Go Media Stadium Mt Smart.
And his teammates have taken notice too.
"It's beautiful hair," said hooker Wayde Egan. "When I see it flapping in the wind and go over the tryline, it just gets me super pumped.
"If that mullet can cross the line four times every week, that'd be awesome."
