Rugby: All Blacks winger Mark Telea re-signs with NZ Rugby, Blues for two more years

All Blacks winger Mark Telea has re-signed with NZ Rugby and the Blues for another two years, beyond this year's Rugby World Cup.

Telea, 26, made his international debut, when he joined last year's northern hemisphere tour to replace Leicester Fainga'anuku, scoring two tries against Scotland on debut and making every post a winner since.

He finished behind only Fainga'anuku in tryscoring for the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season, cementing his place in the All Blacks for the upcoming Rugby Championship, with the World Cup looming beyond.

Telea also led the competition in clean breaks (24) and defenders beaten (101), and finished second to Brumbies fullback Tom Wright in metres carried (1716).

He was named Most Valuable Player for a Blues team that were soundly defeated by the defending champion Crusaders in last week's semi-finals.
