Kiwis will be able to watch the upcoming season of the Sail GP through ThreeNow after Warner Bros. Discovery announced an exclusive partnership.
Fans will be able to stream all 12 of the Sail GP events, with full coverage of the Season Four Championship coming live to ThreeNow through the platform's pop-up channel.
The season-opener at Chicago gets underway at 9am on Saturday (NZT), live on ThreeSport, with delayed coverage available on Three at 4:30pm.
The announcement comes after a record-breaking season for Sail GP, with the third installment reaching more than 117 million people, three times that of the audience the year before.
Over 400,00 Kiwis tuned into the inaugural New Zealand Sail GP leg at Christchurch, which was also shown on Three and ThreeNow.
Sail GP commercial director Karl Budge is excited by the new agreement with Three, and hopes it will only grow the sport further in New Zealand.
"We're delighted to announce Warner Bros. Discovery as the new home of SailGP in New Zealand, the spiritual home of sailing," he said.
"For us, the alignment was natural. Their broad network provides the ideal platform to help grow our dedicated audience and bolster our established fan base in Aotearoa New Zealand."
New Zealand came up just short in last season's Grand Final, with rivals Australia holding on to take the honours.
Skipper Peter Burling is delighted Kiwi fans will now be able to watch a full season on ThreeNow and ThreeSport.
"We've always enjoyed incredible support at home and it's great that more of our fans will be able to experience the excitement of SailGP, now free and easy to watch in New Zealand," he said.
