Meta's Mark Zuckerberg has been training with UFC fighters ahead of his match-up with Twitter's Elon Musk.
Kiwi-Nigerian UFC middleweight champ Israel Adesanya tweeted a photo of the "serious business" training with fellow Aussie UFC star Alexander Volkanovski and Facebook's founder - Zuckerberg on Wednesday.
“No fugazi with Mark,” Adesanya captioned the post - i.e. saying that Zuckerberg is the real deal.
Zuckerberg, 39, took the chance to show off his toned body in the post, ahead of his much-anticipated but uncertain fight with Musk, 52.
“This is serious business" Adesanya posted.
"It's an honor to train with you guys," Zuckerberg commented on the photo.
"Zuck is definitely on the juice," reckoned one Twitter commenter.
"Daaaamn zuck [sic] is in good shape," another said.
UFC head Dana White told TMZ Sports both men are committed and taking a fight seriously.
"They both want to do it."
Volkanovski and Adesanya went to California after Sunday's UFC 290, to train at Zuckerberg's home, according to local media.
Zuckerberg appears to be training hard, posting a jiu jitsu training session last month on his Instagram.
It comes after Musk challenged Zuckerberg three weeks ago to an MMA-style fight at the iconic UFC APEX venue in Las Vegas,
Musk was responding to a tweet about Meta's Threads app release - seen as a new competitor platform to Twitter.
“I’m up for a cage match if he is lol,” Musk wrote, to which Zuckerberg appeared to agree.
“Send me location,” Zuckergberg wrote on Instagram, showing Musk’s tweet and other users piling on.
Musk responded by poking fun at his own combat skills.
"I have this great move that I call 'The Walrus', where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing," he wrote on Twitter last month.
The date of the cage fight between the two billionaires is still unknown.
