The NZ Warriors have welcomed back Josh Curran from suspension for their NRL clash against Cronulla Sutherland Sharks at Mt Smart Stadium.
Curran sat out last week's contest against Parramatta Eels after being handed a two-match ban by the NRL following his guilty plea to an assault charge.
The second rower avoided conviction for the incident last October, but was slapped with a breach notice and a $10,000 fine following the NRL's own investigation.
Having also missed round 18's fixture against South Sydney Rabbitohs, Curran is now available for selection and has been named to start on Sunday.
He is one of two changes to the side, with Mitchell Barnett replacing the absent Bunty Afoa, who has been ruled out for a week as he follows NRL concussion protocols.
Afoa sustained a head injury in Saturday's win over the Eels, with Barnett named in his place at prop, and Curran moving to the second row.
He is one of six players to appear in the first 17 matches this season, ending a run of 48 consecutive appearances stretching back to mid-July 2021.
