An experienced campaigner and NRL newcomer have extended their time with NZ Warriors.
Veteran Wayde Egan and rookie Ali Leiataua have signed new deals that will keep them in Auckland until the end of the 2025 season.
Egan, 26, followed up his 100th career game against Parramatta Eels by extending his time with the club to six seasons, after initially signingd until 2024.
Meanwhile, Leiataua will join the Warriors on a full-time basis from next season, after only debuting against Canberra Raiders on June 9.
"Wayde is a hugely influential player for us," said Warriors head coach Andrew Webster. "He is a real leader, while his ability and decision-making on the field is critical to the way we perform.
"In Ali, we see a centre of special quality and he emphasised that with his debut, when he did a brilliant job marking Jarrod Croker on what was such a big night in Canberra."
Egan joined the Warriors from Penrith Panthers in 2020, while Leiataua has risen through the club's youth ranks from a 14-year-old.
Now 20, Leiataua has gone from strength to strength, after starring for the reserve side, scoring nine tries in 13 NSW Cup appearances.
He marked his NRL debut with an impressive performance opposite Raiders star Jarrod Croker at a charged GIO Stadium.
