Kiwi powerlifter Hinewai Hausman has been banned for a further seven years from all sport, after failing another anti-doping test.
Hauseman was serving a four-year ban handed down by the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand for testing positive for Clenbuterol in 2019.
But after tip-off, she was tested again before her ban had expired in April, which returned a positive result for four anabolic steroids.
Hausman was shown to have Drostanolone, Norandrosterone, Oxandrolone, and Metenolone in her system, with the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand banning her for a further seven years.
Drug Free Sport New Zealand chief executive Nick Paterson expressed frustration at Hausman's actions.
"Ms. Hausman's attitude towards clean sport and the anti-doping rules is cavalier, disrespectful to other athletes, and undermines our sporting integrity.
"Doping denies clean Kiwi athletes the chance to excel on a level playing field, and part of our role is to bring dopers to account."
Since being handed her second ban from the sport, Hausman has now retired from powerlifting.
