Coach Jitka Klimkova remains committed more than ever to seeing the Football Ferns thrive after what she describes as a successful World Cup campaign.
In the ten days they were in the tournament, they won their first match, set record crowds, and finished with their most points ever.
Having tasted a bit of success, Klimkova is hungry for more.
It's been 10 days since the Football Ferns were bundled out of the Women's World Cup.
And not a day goes by when coach Jitka Klimkova thinks of the 'what if' moments that could've led to a history-making road out of the group stages.
"Was this time of the substitution the right timing? Should we change our formation earlier? So, all those questions I am still asking," she said.
The Ferns did make history when they beat Norway in the tournament opener, becoming the first New Zealand side to win a World Cup match.
And that taste of success has Klimkova wanting more.
"I am thankful for this length of the contract and I am absolutely committed to keeping working hard for this team," she said.
That will start with preparing for next year's Olympics in Paris.
And with the likes of veterans Ali Riley, Ria Percival, and Annalie Longo committing to 2024, Klimkova has plenty to be excited about.
"This journey isn't over, we can still get better," she said.
But now their journey is over, there's only one team the Football Ferns coach is throwing her support behind.
"Knowing how much it means for the players who are playing at home, let's go Matildas," Klimkova said.
But as Klimkova supports the Matilda's, she's quietly plotting how next to take on the world.
