NRL: NZ Warriors utility Jazz Tevaga vents frustrations after latest injury blow rules him out of Manly Sea Eagles clash

Jazz Tevaga's wretched run with injury has continued, with the NZ Warriors utility forward ruled out of Friday's clash with Manly Sea Eagles, due to a hamstring injury.

Tevaga was named to make just his third appearance of the season, after a lengthy layoff with a calf injury sustained during the annual Anzac Day clash against Melbourne Storm in April.

After limping off the field during the training, Tevaga, 27, seems destined for more time on the sidelines. He will undergo scans to determine the severity of the injury and his recovery timeframe.

Tevaga took to social media to vent his frustrations.

"It's been a f***ing shit year for me!" he posted on Instagram. "Regardless of my results, I will be supporting my brothers as best I can for the remainder of the season.

"Praying for a good result. As always #UpDaWahs."

Tevaga's absence further tests the Warriors depth, with Mitchell Barnett also out of action with a knee laceration. Tom Ale has been promoted to the bench to replace Tevaga.

In tandem with fellow 'bald brother' Dylan Walker, Tevaga has been a key impact player off the bench for the Warriors and a long-term prognosis would be a blow to coach Andrew Webster's side, with the finals looming.

The Warriors have just three regular season fixtures remaining, before the post-season begins.
