Football: Newshub's Michael O'Keeffe attempts 'record' for juggling ball, reading weather on AM

Turns out there's a reason Newshub presenter Michael O'Keeffe was a football goalkeeper.

During an AM discussion on Guinness world records, one thing led to another, and the former NZ Olympic representative was challenged to read the weather and juggle a ball at the same time.

O'Keeffe began the 8:30am weather bouncing the ball from one foot to the other, as meteorological maps scrolled across the screen. Our man did a great job of reading the weather, but maybe not so much with the juggling...

"There was a lot of fraud going on," observed AM host Ryan Bridge. "Let's be real about what just happened."

Reflected multi-talented O'Keeffe: "Back in the day, you used to count how many juggles you could do, but that's when I turned to being a goalkeeper, because I couldn't do many and I needed to find something else.

"Goalkeeper was it."

Bridge quipped: "And here you are."
