Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the third and final Taini Jamison Trophy test between the Silver Ferns and the England Roses from Hamilton's Globox Arena.

While a decider would normally be a dream for a promoter, the Silver Ferns do find themselves in a backs to the wall situation.

After making a point of England sending a second string side to New Zealand, featuring no players from their Netball World Cup campaign, Dame Noeline Taurua's Silver Ferns fell to a surprise loss first up.

And while New Zealand bounced back emphatically earlier this week to level the series, England have still shown there is plenty of work to do for this Silver Ferns side.

At the very least, the performance of teenage debutant Amelia Walmsley, who stole the show in Wednesday's win in Wellington, can give New Zealand hope. But her senior teammates will need to stand up if they're to take this series 2-1.

England, meanwhile, are gunning for their second successive Taini Jamison Trophy win, after doing the same in 2021.

TAB odds: New Zealand $1.09, England $6
