Israel Adesanya has shown off his generous side, gifting more than 300 people a $50 gift card at an advanced screening of his new documentary Stylebender.
As part of a Q&A session for the film, released in New Zealand on Thursday, Adesanya appeared at Auckland's Newmarket Event Cinema and showed his gratitude to those who attended.
"First of all, thank you," Adesanya said. "For you guys to even still come out tonight, in droves and show support to watch my f**king mug on the big screen, crying and shit - thank you.
"I just want to say, I'm going to give you all back your money. As you leave the cinema, you're going to get a card that has $50 on it, so you can come back and watch any other movie.
"Thank you guys for being here, I really appreciate it."
Fans were quick to thank Adesanya for his gesture, with one screaming "we love you" in the UFC star's direction.
The screening came one day after 34-year-old Adesanya pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving on Monday, with the former UFC middleweight champion showing his gratitude for fans supporting him after the fact.
