Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Cricket World Cup match between the Blackcaps and Australia at Dharamshala.

After opening the tournament with four big wins, New Zealand have suffered their first defeat against the unbeaten hosts and now seek a bounceback against the old rivals.

The Aussies started their campaign with a couple of defeats to India and South Africa, but seem to have righted the ship, with three straight wins to sit inside the top four semi-final spots halfway through poolplay.

This will be a key match-up between two teams that know each other very well.

Veteran bowler Tim Southee has recovered from his broken thumb, but has yet to make his debut at this tournament, with the Kiwis reluctant to disrupt a bowling attack that has performed outstandingly so far.

This will be their first day game, so conditions will be slightly different to those that prevailed at the same ground against the home team.

Join us at 5:30pm for the toss.

TAB Odds: Australia $1.60, NZ $2.30
