Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Cricket World Cup match between New Zealand and India at Dharamshala.
Two weeks into the tournament, these are the only two unbeaten teams left, as some of the other favoured teams fall victim to the game's international minnows.
Defending champions England were toppled by Afghanistan, while South Africa couldn't handle the Netherlands. At 2-2, Australia and Pakistan are currently contesting the final semi-final spot.
The Blackcaps have been impressive and currently lead the table with their superior net run rate. Since gaining revenge over England for their heartbreaking 2019 final defeat, they have enjoyed a soft schedule and that is about to change.
After the hosts, they face the Aussies, South Africa and Pakistan, before closing against qualifiers Sri Lanka. They probably need two wins to clinch their place in the semis.
India have also been untroubled so far, including a six-wicket win over Australia in their opener and a seven-wicket victory over archrivals Pakistan. They will have huge crowd support, but the Kiwis may be bolstered by the return of veteran bowler Tim Southee, who broke his thumb against England last month.
Join us for the toss at 9pm.
TAB Odds: India $1.43, NZ $2.75
