NZ Warriors forward Josh Curran is reportedly on the move, after signing on with Canterbury Bulldogs.
According to Australia's Daily Telegraph, Curran, 24, has inked a multi-year deal to join the Sydneysiders under coach Cameron Ciraldo.
Curran had one season remaining on the two-year extension he inked with the Warriors in 2022 but was given permission to negotiate with rival clubs earlier this month.
With Andrew Webster focused on developping some of his younger forward prospects, the NZ-based side appeared unlikely to grant Curran the long-term extension he'd sought and a move to the Bulldogs likely opens a path back to returning to a fulltime starter.
Curran's departure would free up cap space and another spot on the 30-man roster, after centre Brayden Wiliame announced his retirement with a year left on his contract, meaning the Warriors now have two vacancies for 2024.
Since joining the club in 2019, the Australian had become somewhat of a cult figure at Mt Smart and was one of the Warriors' best players during the first three seasons of his tenure.
But Curran struggled to reach those same height this past season, struggling to earn consistent minutes under new coach Webster and consigned to the bench in favour of new recruits Marata Niukore and Jackson Ford.
While he played 24 games during the Warriors' run to the final four, Curran only started in six of those contests.
Speaking before the Warriors' regular season showdown with Manly Sea Eagles in August, Curran admitted he's been disappointed with his form - describing his campaign as a "letdown season."
The Sydney native made 60 appearances for the Warriors and has also been a regular in the NRL's Indigenous All Stars side.
The Bulldogs finished 15th in the last season's NRL standings with just seven wins through their 24 games.
