In a landmark deal, both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series will stream free on ThreeNow, the first-time the service has live-streamed NASCAR in Aotearoa.
Coverage will kick off with the Cup Series' Clash at The Coliseum in Los Angeles in early February, while the first Xfinity Series coverage will commence on February 18 from Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will see Kiwi Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen driving in the competition full-time after his official move to NASCAR.
Van Gisbergen won the inaugural Chicago Street Race in his NASCAR debut in July last year; becoming the first driver in more than half a century to win a Cup race in their first start.
Driving the #97 Chevrolet Camaro with Kaulig Racing, the three-time Supercars champion will also drive in a minimum of seven Cup Series races in 2024.
Van Gisbergen says it's special that Kiwi fans will get the chance to watch him compete in his inaugural season.
"Awesome to hear the news that NASCAR will be shown on TV in NZ this year! It'll be a few early Sunday and Monday mornings for the Kiwi fans but hopefully I can do my best to make it worth it."
Highlights from the two series will also be available on CRC Motorsport each Sunday on Three and ThreeNow.
UPDATE: The first race, the Cup Series' Clash at The Coliseum, has been brought forward due to weather conditions and will now air live at 1:30pm on Sunday February 4 on ThreeNow.
