Kia ora, good evening, and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of this Super Rugby Pacific second-round clash from Melbourne.

After opening with a 44-14 victory away to Western Force last week, the Hurricanes' Australian road trip to start the season concludes this evening up against the Reds.

The Queenslanders were equally impressive in their season opener, where they defeated NSW Waratahs 40-22.

And as we saw on Saturday when the Waratahs toppled the Chiefs, anything is possible for an Australian side playing the right way.

The Hurricanes have improved their starting side from last week, namely by bringing All Blacks halfback Cam Roigard back into their run-on XV, while co-captain for the day Jordie Barrett celebrates his 100th match.

He'll be directly against Wallabies talent Hunter Paisami in the No.12 jersey, out to impress new coach Joe Schmidt.

The Reds will also have to rectify their recent record against Kiwi sides, with just one victory in their last 14 against the New Zealand teams.

TAB odds: Hurricanes $1.30, Reds $3.60, draw $21
