Kiwi golfers Ryan Fox and Sam Jones remain in the hunt at the halfway stage of their respective golf events in the United States and Belgium.
Ryan Fox is in a tie for seventh after the second round at the PGA Tour’s Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas, five shots behind leader Davis Riley.
Fox carded three-under, including five birdies, in round two for combined score of five-under.
At one point the world number 63 was in a tie for the lead but a bogey on the final hole saw him silde down the rankings.
World number one Scottie Scheffler bounced back from his poor opening round at the event. His five-under-par in the second round has moved the American to just five shots off the pace, back in a tie for 15th.
Meanwhile, just a day after his incredible nine-under opening round at the DP World Tour event in Antwerp, Sam Jones was a little less on fire during the second round.
The European tour rookie dropped back to fourth after carding a score of one under on day two. However, just four shots off new leader Nacho Elvira, he is still he is well placed to achieve his best finish at a DP World Tour event.
