The return of a few injured players hasn't swayed NZ Warriors coach Andrew Webster from sticking to the shuffled line-up that found a surprise win over Penrith Panthers, maintaining the mindset of 'if it's not broken, don't fix it'.
Webster has had to make a tough call over Chanel Harris Tavita returning from injury, who could have solved his halves selection headache. Instead, he opted to keep Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad at five-eighth for just his second game ever.
The question is back on everyone's lips.
"Charnze at fullback... oh, here we go again," chuckles Webster.
No-one's questioning his ability at fullback, rather the impact he had in his new position in the win over Penrith.
"He's so about the team, Charnze, and wherever you put him, he’ll do it," said Webster. "I was stoked with him and for him, and I think the team loved having him there."
The move was forced due to a string of injuries, but this week, regular playmaker Harris-Tavita returns.
"It's important that we give him time," admitted Webster.
Harris-Tavita won't start in the No.6 jersey, with Webster opting to keep Nicoll-Klokstad at five-eighth with only one game's experience under his belt.
"Everyone liked how things went last week and we liked it too, so we'll just keep it how it is for now," said Webster.
"It was good to see that next-man-up mentality," confirmed second-rower Jackson Ford.
That mindset doesn't end with a switch-up in the halves - the side will still be without captain Tohu Harris, Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa Sheck against the Dolphins this weekend.
"We built a gameplan around what was comfortable around me and Te Maire [Martin] and Taine [Tuaupiki]," said lock Dylan Walker. "It wasn't so much around playing like them, it is, 'Let's play to our strengths'."
If they're as good as last weekend, the Warriors could be on their way back up the NRL ladder.
