All Blacks prop Ofa Tu'ungafasi has extended his contract with the Blues for another two years, until the end of 2026.
The veteran front-rower debuted for the franchise in 2013 and has been a constant over the past decade, amassing 144 caps - behind only former teammate Keven Mealamu (164).
"The Blues hold a special place in my heart and I am honoured to extend my journey here," he said. "I am proud to have played so much rugby for one club, and it's been cool to grow as a person and a player with the Blues.
"I take a lot of pride in contributing, not only to our Blues community, but also to the development of our younger players. It's been great to work with the new front-rowers and I'm committed to ensuruing we build strength in that area."
Nuku'alofa-born Tu'ungafasi, 32, has been a key supporter of Blues community programmes, including 'Best Foot Forward for Tonga'. He has been one of Super Rugby Pacific's in-form props, helping the Blues to the top of the competition table with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
He has also played 57 tests for New Zealand, since his 2016 debut.
