Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the NZ Warriors v Gold Coast Titans at Gold Coast's Cbus Super Stadium.
The Warriors saw their three-game winning streak ended against top-of-the-table Melbourne Storm, but strike the ideal bounceback opportunity, when they visit the bottom-of-the-table Titans.
Gold Coast have won only three of 11 games this season and only one of them at home. One of them was against the Warriors at Mt Smart on Anzac Day, a result that still festers with the Auckland side.
During the week, coach Andrew Webster was asked if they could honestly expect to make the playoffs, if they lose twice to the bottom team, and while he dismissed that question has being condescending towards the Titans, the sentiment is perfectly valid.
If they can't overcome a team struggling this badly, the Warriors probably don't deserve to be among the championship contenders.
They will be without suspended winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, while forwards Kurt Capewell (Queensland) and Mitch Barnett (NSW) are both on Origin duty.
Join us at 5pm for kickoff.
TAB Odds: Warriors $1.53, Titans $2.50
