Kia ora and welcome to live updates of New Zealand's third match of the 2024 Twenty20 World Cup against Uganda at Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Blackcaps are officially playing for pride in this one.

After their historically poor opening defeat to Afghanistan and a second loss to West Indies, New Zealand have been eliminated from the knockout stages of the 2024 Twenty20 World Cup, despite having two pool matches to play.

But there is still a game to be played as New Zealand hope to get on the board with their first win of the tournament over major underdogs Uganda.

We'll have all of the action from 12:30pm (NZ time).

TAB Odds: Blackcaps $1.01, Uganda $23
