Oppo has revealed all the details about its upcoming flagship Find X3 smartphone range, which goes on sale in New Zealand on March 30, 2021.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro 5G will launch with a RRP of NZ$1899, while the Oppo Find X3 Lite 5G will launch with a RRP of NZ$799.
As to be expected, the new Pro model comes packed with impressive new photography tech. Its quad camera system will include two 50MP lenses and boast 10bit image and video processing power.
More surprisingly, the new phones are going to feature ringtones and notifications that are custom designed by legendary composer Hans Zimmer, who has created beloved scores for dozens of films including The Dark Knight, The Lion King and Gladiator.
In addition to the upgraded camera features, Oppo says the Pro model's 6.7-inch screen has a highly advanced LTPO AMOLED display.
"The Find X3 Pro uses the 10-bit full-path Colour Management System to capture, store and display photos and videos up to 1 billion colours," the Chinese tech giant says in a media release.
"The power of the 50MP cameras combined with the 1 billion colour display of the Find X3 Pro provide a pro-level colour accuracy right in the palm of the hand. In addition, the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution take apps, games and entertainment to a whole new level."
The Pro model will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chip and come with a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charging, which promises to get the phone back up to 40 percent in 10 minutes or fully charged in 38 minutes from flat.
It comes with 256GB storage, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and will run ColorOS 11.1, which is based on Android 11.
Oppo says the cheaper Lite model will also feature a quad camera setup but comes with lower specs than the Pro, such as a Snapdragon 765G chip instead of the latest 888 and 128GB storage with 8GB RAM.
The Pro model will come in either 'gloss black' or blue, while the Lite will come in either 'starry black' or 'astral blue'.
Pre-orders for the Find X3 range open on March 16.
