Twitter went down for thousands of users on Thursday.
More than 10,000 users reported issues with accessing the social media website in the US alone as of 1:40pm (NZ time), according to Downdetector.com. Some users also complained their Twitter notifications weren't working.
There were also hundreds of outage reports in New Zealand and the likes of Australia and India.
Downdetector said user reports indicated there were "possible problems at Twitter".
"Twitter's site logged me out and the site no longer works for me," one Australian user said.
"Glad I'm not the only one logged out against my will and unable to log back in," another wrote.
As of 4pm, the website appeared to be working again.
