A survey of Australia's most trusted brands has been released and the winner is from New Zealand.
For the second year in a row Air NZ has been awarded the title of the most reputable company by the Reputation Institute's annual Australia Corporate Reputation Index.
The airline's competitors Qantas and Virgin Australia placed third and fourth. Toyota, Apple and Nestle also made the Australian top ten.
The announcement couldn't come at a better time for Air NZ, which recently cut ties with alliance partner Virgin Australia and confirmed increased flights across the Tasman.
"Australians have embraced our warm service, innovative products and our distinctive brand, as brought to life here in Australia through our award-winning Bryan Brown voiced Dave the Goose marketing campaign. We're thrilled to continue to be held in such high regard," Air New Zealand General Manager Australia Kathryn Robertson said.
The airline came second in New Zealand's Reputation Index which was also out today.
Toyota won that one, with ANZ, Foodstuffs and Genesis Energy rounding out the top five.
