Three years ago plumber Logan Dodds decided to produce a short video of his holiday to share with friends and family, today he's being paid to travel the world.
"My old man passed away when I was 18, so that sparked the whole thing about life's too short, get out and live your life" Dodds told Duncan Garner on The AM Show this morning.
When he turned 20, Dodds purchased a GoPro camera and took off for Europe, documenting his adventures online - then a Facebook post changed his life.
"Boom. It blew up, it got about 5 million views," he said.
Dodds now uses a Samsung to shoot on and is an ambassador for the brand, showcasing their products while on the road.
"I've learned a whole new skill set now. I go out and take photos, shoot video, travel around and create content for them."
His advice to others who would love to do the same thing and make a bit of cash out of their social media posts is simple.
"Just be yourself, tell a good story and people will listen," he said.
