Singapore Airlines (SIA) has been named the world's best airline of 2018 in Skytrax's World Airline Awards, in which it also won world's best first class, best airline in Asia and best first class airline seat.
It's the fourth time SIA has claimed the honour, which is decided on by surveys of more than 20 million travelers.
While Air New Zealand didn't win the top honour - which it has for the last five years running in a rival rankings list compiled by airlineratings.com - it was awarded best premium economy class and seat.

Another big winner in Skytrax's World Airline Awards 2018 was Qatar Airways, which was runner-up overall along with claiming best business class, best business class seat, best first class lounge and the best airline in the Middle East.
Goh Choon Phong, the CEO of SIA, dedicated the top award to the company's staff members.
"Singapore Airlines is honoured to be named world's best airline and I dedicate it to the 26,000 SIA Group employees who focus every day on delivering the world's best travel experience to our customers," said Mr Phong.
Skytrax's World Airline Awards have been running since 1999.
