Auckland has been named as one of six Qantas lounges set for major upgrades in the next year.
Speaking to reporters at the airline's financial results announcement in Sydney, Qantas CEO Alan Joyce, said the upgrades will provide the full Qantas experience before passengers have even boarded their flights.
"We know the lounge experience is a key part of people's journey and it's also how we reward our most frequent flyers. As the demand for premium travel increases, we're responding with more space in our lounges, more dining options and designs that reflect the destination," Joyce said.
