British rail company Cross Country trains has angered its passengers after displaying a sexist message on its destinations screen.
Instead of listing the train's upcoming stations, the sign read: 'Only fit birds on this train.'

Cross Country trains said the message was unacceptable and that the staff involved had been spoken to.
The message appeared on an early morning service between Basingstoke and Reading in the south of England.
A passenger who spoke to British media said some people on the train were laughing, but most were disgusted.
The company hasn't explained how the incident happened, or what the consequences were for the staff involved.
