Some of Aotearoa's biggest celebrities - along with an imported one - star in a new online video that hopes to ensure New Zealand is front and centre on the world map.
Detective Rhys Darby is hot on the case, investigating why the country is frequently left off maps of the world, with help from filmmaker Sir Peter Jackson and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The video shows the Flight of the Conchords star mistaking British musician Ed Sheeran as being responsible for keeping New Zealand off world maps, before Sir Peter unveils a new one - which New Zealand sits right in the middle of.
Stephen England-Hall, Tourism NZ's chief executive, says the video follows on from a similar ad launched earlier in the year that also starred Mr Darby and Ms Ardern.
He says that video went viral and within 24 hours had received media attention to the value of $10 million.
''The content addresses perceived barriers to visiting New Zealand, such as flight times and how easy it is to get around," says Mr England-Hall.
"It also promotes autumn and spring as the best time to visit, supporting our strategy to spread visitation across the year.
