Ten flights were delayed on Sunday evening after a drone was apparently seen at Wellington Airport, according to reports.
At roughly 6:30pm on Sunday night, an aircraft spotted a drone at about 200 metres in altitude, less than three kilometres from the end of the runways, reports Stuff.

An Airways spokesperson said that was "extremely close to the airfield".
For 23 minutes, the drone could be seen from the ground, meaning flights were delayed as police were called to the area.
While enquiries were made, no one was located and normal operations began again roughly 30 minutes later.
