Excitement is brewing amongst the passionate craft beer community after the announcement of a new airline that's entirely about craft beer.
Scotland-based BrewDog Brewery will launch its own airline in February next year - but its time in the air will be pint-sized, with only a handful of flights planned.
BrewDog's flights will hop across the Atlantic in a specially painted Boeing 767 to take part in the world's highest beer tasting event.
Tickets for the 'larger than life' experience have been offered to members of the BrewDog crowdsourcing community, known as 'Equity Punk' - but the trip won't be cheap, with tickets costing over NZ$2400 each.
James Watt, cofounder of BrewDog, reckons the flight will delight craft beer fans.
"We've redesigned the flight experience for optimum beer enjoyment - from the food, to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer," he says.
Tickets are on sale now.
