Star Wars fans have a new holiday destination from tomorrow as Disneyland Resort in Los Angeles unveils its latest star attraction to the world.
At almost seven hectares in size, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is the largest single themed land expansion in Disney's history and its official unveiling takes place in Anaheim on Wednesday (local time), before it opens to the public the next day.
Virgin Australia partnered up with Disney to fly fans from Down Under to Galaxy's Edge and to celebrate, they surprised passengers with Storm Troopers on patrol, Kylo Ren at the ticketing desk, a pilot wielding a light saber and an R2 unit in the Virgin Australia lounge.
