Ever wanted to sleep in the cockpit of a plane? Now you can, in a new themed room that has opened in a Tokyo hotel.
The Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyo has installed a fully functional flight simulator and cockpit into the flight themed hotel room.
The hotel, which is attached to Toyko's Haneda Airport, and its 'Superior Cockpit Room' is fitted with a Boeing 737-800 flight simulator.
Guests can watch the plane fly across Japan, 'taking off' from the airport next door, for a price of around NZ$342 per night.
But if you want to fly the plane, guests need to fork out for an instructor, who will guide them in a 90-minute, NZ$406 flight experience.
The Superior Cockpit Room officially opened to guests on July 18 to celebrate the hotel's 15th anniversary.
"We have already received a lot of inquiries both from Japan and overseas," a spokesperson for the hotel said.
