Air New Zealand has released sales fares for seats on its regional network flights, with some selling as low as $39.
The $39 airfares are 'seat-only', meaning you can't take any check-in luggage with you. Seat and bag fares, which do allow checked in luggage, start from $59.
Flights out of Tauranga to Auckland also fall into the $39 airfare bracket, flights to Christchurch from Tauranga begin at $59.
Air NZ's longest domestic route, flights between Auckland and Invercargill begin at $79 ranging up to $139 for fully flexible tickets.
The sale airfares begin at $39 and go as high as $99 for flights between Auckland and Timaru.
