Air New Zealand's bargain airfare website, Grabaseat, has launched a one-day sale in the lead-up to the Christmas rush.
The airline is offering flights between its domestic destinations, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill for as low as $9. But the airfare sales aren't restricted to flights within Aotearoa.
The website has airfares to Honolulu for $249 one-way, Bali for $299 one way and Los Angeles for just $799 return.
Flights to the Pacific Islands are also available for $99 one-way.
