Cook Islands tourism operators are desperately trying to keep their businesses afloat and are calling for a lifeline from New Zealand tourists.
They're urging New Zealand to create a travel bubble with the Islands with both countries having no community transmission of COVID-19.
Sea Change Villas manager Craig Bennett says without travellers, his business can only survive until September and spoke to The AM Show about what he believes will be the mutual benefits of a travel bubble.
