A person has been arrested following a threat that caused the emergency evacuation of Invercargill Airport on Friday afternoon.
The threat mentioned a "bomb in a bag", according to Stuff.
The airport has now been reopened after earlier closing to allow police and aviation security personnel to carry out a search.
After a 30-minute search, during which nothing of concern was found, staff reopened the airport and normal operations have now resumed.
Police say they have made an arrest in relation to the threat.
