New Zealand glaciers are thinning seven times faster now than 20 years ago, according to a new analysis of satellite and aerial images of more than 200,000 glaciers around the world.
It seems that now is the time to visit in what could be a last chance.
Spanning over 13km in length, decending from the Southern Alps to the rainforest 300m above sea level, Fox and Franz Josef glaciers are the most easily accessible glaciers in the world, right here in Aotearoa.
