If you haven't started a 'places to go post-COVID' list then this story may just change that.
Tripadvisor has announced the winners of it's 2021 Travellers' Choice 'Best of the Best' Things to Do awards.
The expanded competition now covers a dozen subcategories from nature walks and hiking to watersports and adventure.
The selection comes from the more than 400,000 bookable activities on the website and is curated by a combination of users ratings and reviews.
Although we might not be able to get out there and do all of them at the moment, a total of 530 activities have been awarded prizes across different categories this year.
Top Overall Experience in the World:
