Jetstar launched a domestic airfare sale early Thursday morning with some airfares as low as $32.
With most of Australia now outside of our bubble, the cheap seats have been released at an ideal time for Kiwis to do something new within their own country.
The Explore NZ sale has 40,000 low fares available across its domestic network, with the lowest fare of $32 available on flights from Christchurch to Wellington.
The travel dates included in the sale are spread out between early August and March 2022.
The deals are even better for members of Club Jetstar. With extra discounts applied, airfares between Auckland and Christchurch fall as low as $29.
Club Jetstar has an annual membership fee of $55 and its members get early access to cheap airfare deals.
Air New Zealand is currently trialing 'Grabaseat Gotta Getaway Club' which similarly offers early access to sales for its members, with an annual fee of $95.
Sale airfares include:
- Auckland to Christchurch from $33 one way
- Auckland to Wellington from $37 one way
- Auckland to Queenstown from $59 one way
- Christchurch to Wellington from $32 one way
- Dunedin to Auckland from $45 one way
