Qatar Airways has been named Airline of the Year in the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022.
The Doha-based airline also took out the awards for World's Best Business Class, World's Best Business Class Lounge Dining and Best Airline in the Middle East.
Behind it in the main Airline of the Year award Singapore Airlines ranked second and Emirates came third.
Air New Zealand came in at 30th, dropping from its number 20 spot in 2021.
Qatar's Skytrax win follows it also claiming number one on the Top Twenty Airlines in the World for 2022 by AirlineRatings.com in July. Air NZ fared better in that list, claiming second place.
It's the seventh time Qatar Airways has topped the Skytrax list.
The airline's chief executive Akbar Al Baker called the win "a testament to all the hard work of our incredible employees".
"Their continued dedication and drive is to ensure our passengers have the best experience possible when they fly with Qatar Airways," said Al Baker.
"I want to offer a sincere thanks to all our passengers who voted for us. Your support drives us to greater achievements every day, we value your loyalty and aim to create memories of a lifetime when you fly with Qatar Airways."
The Skytrax World Airline Awards were handed out at a ceremony in London after two years of virtual award ceremonies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
