Qatar Airways has launched its first 2023 sale for New Zealand customers looking to travel to the UK, Europe or Africa this year.
Airfares on offer in the sale - which runs until January 13 or until sold out - include business and economy class for travel periods January 6-May 31 and August 1-November 30.
In trying to attract passengers from Aotearoa over alternatives like Air New Zealand and Emirates, Qatar Airways points to its record seven wins of Airline of the Year in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards.

The costs listed above are the lowest adult return prices including taxes and airport charges - child/infant discounts will apply. The prices were accurate at the time of publishing, according to the Qatar Airways website.
In an email to media about the sale, other destinations highlighted by the airline were Düsseldorf, Geneva, Helsinki, Madrid, Munich, Nairobi, New York and Rome.
