A new photo of a nude woman pressing herself against a sacred tree in Bali has infuriated locals and reportedly resulted in her arrest.
Media website Coconuts Bali reported on Wednesday that Denpasar Immigration Head Tedy Riyandi said the woman had been "apprehended", however details such as her name, age and nationality were not disclosed.
It's the second time in less than a year that a naked woman's antics with the 700-year-old Kayu Putih tree in Tabanan have caused outrage.
Alina Fazleeva, 28, was deported after sharing snaps online that showed her pressing her bare body against the tree in May last year.
The new photos of the unknown woman have been posted on the Instagram account of Ni Luh Djelantik, who has railed against disrespectful tourists in Bali many times before.
"Bali is our home. Not yours. Do you think you’ll look cool taking naked pictures on our holy trees?" they said with the reposted photos.
"Go back to your country if you can’t respect our tradition and culture!"
The outcry comes amid a crackdown by authorities on tourists behaving badly in Bali.
Last month, a Russian was deported for posing on Instagram while exposing his genitals at a sacred volcano.
