Fiji Airways has announced a sale for New Zealand customers offering what it says is up to 40 percent off regular priced airfares.
On offer are return airfares from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to or Nadi for $620, Los Angeles for $1073 or Tokyo for $773.
The sale ends on April 15 unless sold out prior, with travel dates between now and March, 2024, with various blackout dates on each route.
Fiji Airways launching the sale is a good sign of competition heating up as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the travel industry further dissipate, giving Kiwi travellers more options on routes that are also serviced by the likes of Air New Zealand and Jetstar.
All sale routes that don't end in Fiji have a stopover there on the way.
The cheapest price advertised for each is a 'lite' fare, which does not include checked baggage or seat selection.
