Disney has announced its Magic at Sea themed cruise experience will be returning late next year after its first ever cruises from Aotearoa, set to set sail later this year, have received an "incredible response".
The sailings aboard the Disney Wonder promise to include characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars milling about onboard as well as "Broadway-quality" live shows, Frozen adventures in Disney's Oceaneer Club, a multi-level replica of Andy's Room from Toy Story and a Marvel SuperHero Academy.
The newly announced two, three, four and five night cruises will depart Auckland at dates throughout December, 2024. They follow the previously announced sailings set to depart Auckland on five nights in November and December this year.
"We were thrilled by the incredible response to our inaugural sailings in Australia and New Zealand and can't wait to return in October 2024," said Sharon Siskie, Disney Cruise Line's senior vice president and general manager..
"We look forward to bringing the magic of Disney to this beautiful part of the world as we welcome both returning guests and those who are new to our special brand of family cruising."
On the Disney Cruise website on Wednesday, the 2024 cruises start at NZ$1559 for a single adult on a two night sailing from Auckland.
New sailings from Australia have also been added from October, 2024 through to February, 2025 with other options including a seven night cruise.
The Disney Wonder also features themed dining spots on the ship include Tiana's Place, which offers New Orleans cuisine and Princess Tiana herself, along with Animator's Palate, which is described as an interactive Disney dining experience, as well as adults-only areas including a pool, spa and salon.
Bookings for the 2024 cruises open on June 27.
